In the original manga, Tetsuwan Atom was born in April 2003. To celebrate his 'birthday' they've released this incredible, very limited, box set.

'Tetsuwan Atom Happy Birthday Box' is a set of seven fantastic groups of items totalling nearly 200 pieces!

1. 3 Reproduction Manga
A 28-page manga from 1953; a 104-page manga from 1955; and a 132-page manga from 1957.

2. Reproduction Astro Boy Bank
Soft vinyl reproduction of a rare Astro Boy giveaway from the 1950s (I think you originally had to send in coupons from the comics to earn one). Measures 10 x 8 cm.

3. Special Trading Cards (set of 97)
These cards capture images from the cover and title pages of early Astro Boy manga.

4. Reproductions of original Osamu Tezuka illustrations

5. Astro Boy Sonoplayer
"A sound of those days revives! The masterpiece of an assembly toy." As far as I can tell, this is a reproduction of a toy that came with the September 1964 manga. Assemble it and play the Astro Boy theme?

7. Astro Boy Birthday! Encyclopedia
'Captain Atom' new version comics. I think this reprints the first tankoubon collecting Astro Boy stories from Shonen starting in 1951.
