Gakken Otona no Kagaku 07: Electric Block EX-150 (Denshi Burokku)
Imported from
Japan
This educational kit is actually an old idea revamped. 25 years ago, the Japanese company Gakken started selling a product series called Denshi Burokku (Electric Blocks). The blocks were, in fact, transistors, resistors or other electrical parts which, when placed in the correct positions like a puzzle, could build various electric circuits, such as a radio and an amplifier. Last year, Gakken re-launched EX-150 of the Denshi Block product series as part of the Otona No Kagaku series. Perform various experiments to see what works, what doesn't, and to learn the secrets of circuits. Simply pop the appropriate blocks into the correct spots and see what happens. Includes a book with 150 different projects for you to try. Yes, the book is only in Japanese. However, it has illustrations of each project so you can still try them; you just won't know what the project does until you're done! Requires 4 AA batteries, not included. This is Volume 7 in the Otona no Kagaku (Sophisticated Science Kit Series for Adults). Click here for a list (in English) of the 150 projects you can perform. Owners manual not in English! For more information, check out the Gakken website
